This website is gold! Thank you so much for all of these important details. This is my second year running after the ferry nightmare and weather last year. Opting this year for the 6AM midtown bus and will most likely be in wave 3, so hopefully no traffic but will absolutely be prepared thanks to you!

Thank you for the course description as well! All I can remember were the hills but this is super helpful to mentally prepare and set up a more accurate marathon plan :)

Hello Runar. This year's race will be my ninth NYC Marathon. First time was 1992, when I was 28 years old, and now I'm almost sixty! As added treat for me this year is that my 22 year-old son is also running - we'll start together and then he'll blast off and I'll see him at dinner.

Thanks for all of your efforts putting together this fantastic website, and managing the Facebook page. Good luck on November 5!
