I just saw your website about the New York marathon for the first time and I am running New York for my one and only time in 2017.I really appreciate the detail of your information, how well organized it is and that it is from a runner's perspective. I especially liked reading the percentage of grades during the route. I had seen the elevation chart but I really needed the percentage of grade as I am from the flat Canadian prairies and I am very mindful of the hills.(had to really work on this when preparing for 2016 Boston marathon)The videos are great too! I will be looking at your website many times before November. thank you again!!

Great website for us newbies!! thank you. is the registration card you mention we need to show for bib pickup the same as what i have as "confirmation form"? i think it is but just in case!! :!cry:

Thanks for replying to my comment, Runar, on the NYC Marathon Facebook page. I am looking forward to reading the information on your website, it looks very thorough. My familes roots are Norwegian and our family name used to be spelled with "sen" rather than the current "son" version. I've never been to Norway, but will one day! I hope all is well with you!

Runar, thank you so much for all of this incredibly organized, detailed & important information for the NYC marathon! You really put my mind at ease. It has been 13 years since I've run a full marathon. 2016 will be my 2nd NYC marathon. 1st time was in 1998 when I was 27! Things have changed a bit & I was nervous about which transportation option to choose. You really helped me make that decision. I'm also glad to see that I was wise in choosing a hotel close to the finish. I love that you posted where the best spots are for family/friends. I will check out your videos as well. Thank you so much!!
