Runar, thank you so much for all of this incredibly organized, detailed & important information for the NYC marathon! You really put my mind at ease. It has been 13 years since I've run a full marathon. 2016 will be my 2nd NYC marathon. 1st time was in 1998 when I was 27! Things have changed a bit & I was nervous about which transportation option to choose. You really helped me make that decision. I'm also glad to see that I was wise in choosing a hotel close to the finish. I love that you posted where the best spots are for family/friends. I will check out your videos as well. Thank you so much!!

Thank you for sharing all your experience. I loved reading about your marathon adventures and viewing the videos you posted. I ran New York City Marathons once befor and ran one time in Hawai. Looking forward to returning for the 2016 NYC Marathon. I enjoy reading your posts very much.

Thanks very much Runar - I just happened upon your website by chance, but there is a lot of useful information here which I hope will make my marathon experience much easier (and just as importantly, my supporters)! I wish I'd chosen a different transport option now, but it's going to have to be the bus from Manhattan...
